I have a 2002 Ford Mondeo Mk3 with a Duratec HE 1.8 petrol engine.

I need to know where it is so I can work out if it is rattling or not. Thanks.

I know where sensor 2 is its downstream, but I get confused cause of the transverse motor (being FWD). Is it on the front exhaust pipe near the bumper or the exhaust pipe near the firewall? and how can I tell where each bank is on any car? is there a trick to remembering? Thanks.
