I use to own a 2009 VW Fox, it was a 1.2 litre, it's BHP was 55, it's top speed way 92, and it's 0-60 was 18 seconds
I am now buying a 2009 Vauxhall Corsa, it is a 1 litre, yet it has 60 BHP, top speed of 93, and a 0-60 or 17 seconds.
The cars weight is roughly the same, and they're not much different in things like aerodynamics and size.
So how is this possible? I thought that a bigger engine would be faster and more powerful than the small engine, yet it isn't!
Money is not an option. Can I fit a KA24DE engine in my 1992 Chrysler Imperial? With a switch from a front wheel drive, to a rear, and from a auto trans to a standard.
I have a 2002 Ford Mondeo Mk3 with a Duratec HE 1.8 petrol engine.
Here is a picture of the engine:

I need to know where it is so I can work out if it is rattling or not. Thanks.
I own a 1998 Nissan Altima that has a 4cylinder motor. There is a knocking noise coming from the motor which sounds like its coming from the left side of the camshaft. My question is what could it possibly be that would make the camshaft make that noise? Also how much it would be to replace the parts. Another thing is when the car is in park and you change into reverse/drive the engine will move significantly, is this natural for a engine to do? Really appreciate input! Thanks
the car is a Ford Fusion and when I put him in gear he won't move and if you hit the gas there appears a smell of burnt plastic on the outside of the car, it is not a plastic bag stuck to my car or something. I think the parking brake is stuck, could this be true?
This is my first car ever and it was bought without any research put in because of the urgency of needing a car. Last year my radiator busted and I drove the car for a while causing more damage to it. I had it towed to a mechanic (that charged me close to $1500 for a radiator, somehow that price doesn't look right.) so he said he put a brand new radiator on and brand new radiator hoses and also he charged me another $100 for a engine fan. My engine light has been on since then so just recently I replaced the coils on my spark plugs. When i put them on i didn't have any lube close to the end of the coil where the spark plug slips into i rubbed a little oil on there. I drove it for about a month so far and my engine light is on and off, but now its off and hasn't come back on. So two weeks ago i have been smelling rubber burning smell every time I get through driving. A couple of days ago little smoke was coming out of the engine and then it stopped. Today the smoke is a lot more visible and seems to be coming from the bottom of the engine on the sides where the spark plugs sit. Can anybody assist me with analyzing this problem I am a college student with not a lot of money so I'm all for DIY projects. Thanks in advance.
I would like to put a towing hitch on my 2009 vw jetta se and tow up to 6 kayaks at a time.
Im looking at buying a wrangler with a 355 chevy engine in it and a high performance transmission. Use would be daily driver and sand toy. Is putting a chevy motor in a jeep a bad idea? He's got it running good
I have a 2000 mitsubishi eclipse, just bought on ebay motors. The engine has about 6k worth of upgrades and has 547hp but the supra engine has around 700hp and twin turbo, but im not going to put out 3500$ or trade engines for nothing.
